If you are an employer you must provide form P45 to an employee when they leave your employment.

The information you must provide to HMRC when an employee leaves, retires or is made redundant, the PAYE tax and National Insurance contributions treatment of your final payment to them and providing form P45 to your employee.

If you are an employer you must provide form P45 to an employee when they leave your employment.
